Celebrate this revered vineyard with three Napa legends who know its soil and soul intimately: Geneviève Janssens of Robert Mondavi Winery, Carol Schrader of Schrader Cellars and Andy Erickson, who is introducing his new wine, To Kalon Vineyard Company, releasing this fall (guests will have exclusive access to be the first to try this highly anticipated new wine). This winning winemaking trifecta will be serving their most celebrated wines and pulling offerings from their libraries the likes of which you’ll probably never taste again.
On July 19, 2019 you’ll tuck into these treasures during a five-course meal, designed with the wines in mind, by Nina Compton of Compère Lapin and Bywater American Bistro in New Orleans. Chef Compton’s accolades include the James Beard 2018 Best Chef of the South award and Food & Wine’s Best New Chef of 2017. Her food is an inspired interplay of the rich culinary heritage of New Orleans, her Caribbean roots and her classical Italian and French culinary training; an altogether unique mélange that will make for a meal most memorable.
Following your lavish meal, stroll through the vineyard to enjoy a private al fresco concert by world-renowned musical group, Rodrigo y Gabriela. The Mexican classical guitar duo is best known for their sensual duets on the flamenco guitar, mixing intricate Latin music with a driving rhythm, an altogether exuberant music to bring this most beautiful evening far into the Napa Valley night.
