6 bottles of Napa Valley wine
In the last century, when Lang & Reed began the exploration into Cabernet Franc, they did so with a constant sense of resolve to stay keenly aware of all things "Cabernet Franc."
So it was with this resolve that they investigated and worked to understand the source material, the clonal selections as they were evolving throughout the 1990s. One of these unique selections was Clone 214, a cultivar that originated in the Loire Valley of France, home to some of the world’s most renowned Cabernet Franc vineyards and producers.
This six-vintage vertical collection of double magnums of Lang & Reed Two-Fourteen Cabernet Franc is the only one that has ever been offered and represents a span of stellar vintages from this now-mature vineyard source. The Sugarloaf Vineyard is located on a cool, rocky hillside, overlooking San Francisco Bay which provides an ideal setting for this unique clone of Cabernet Franc.
These bottles signed by winemaker and proprietors, in grand format double magnums, should provide a couple decades of enjoyment.
