Tour of St. Helena in a 1969 Citroen 2CV (Deux Chaveau) for 2 guests
This lot features one case of 2016 estate grown, whole berry Cabernet Sauvignon from the St. Helena nested appellation.
This wine is the product of a Grace Family Clone on 110R rootstock from a single 1.06-acre block planted in 1992. Barrel aged 22 months in 70 percent new, thin stave, tight grain French oak from Taransaud, Boutes and Redmond.
This unique wine displays notes of fresh black currant, brambly blackberry, hints of mocha and exotic spice; enters full and plush, concentrated mid-palate, mouth coating texture with firm acid backbone, supple tannins, and lingering finish.
Total production was 158 cases.
