3 bottles of Napa Valley wine
This lot includes magnums of Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon from each of Diana Snowden Seysse's first three years as winemaker - 2005, 2006 and 2007.
This wine is produced from grapes grown in vineyards on the eastern slope of the Napa Valley between St. Helena and Rutherford, where winegrapes have grown continuously since 1878, and for the past 65 years have been grown under the hands of three generations of Snowdens.
These are dry wines in the neo-classic style, produced to show off the nuances of site, vintage and variety - and the unique character which only careful bottle aging can create.
- The 2005 vintage blend is Cabernet Sauvignon (76%), Cabernet Franc (17%) and Petit Verdot (7%)
- The 2006 vintage blend is Cabernet Sauvignon (75%), Merlot (12%), Petit Verdot (8%) and 5% Cabernet Franc (5%)
- The 2007 vintage is a true field blend of 86% Cabernet Sauvignon and 14% Cabernet Franc
