"How to taste a Barrel Sample"

Back by popular demand, this educational session has been updated for 2012 with a twist: taste five Napa Valley wines, including Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, and Cabernet Sauvignon, all from the barrel, followed by a tasting of five similar finished wines. Some of Napa Valley's most well-known winemakers and wine educator and Master Sommelier Andrea Robinson will guide you through this perfect primer for the 100 extraordinary lots featured at this year's Barrel Tasting and Case Auction.

"Aroma Wheel of Fortune"

If fun and games are more your style, don't miss "Aroma Wheel of Fortune," our second educational offering. This interactive presentation will help you become familiar with common wine aromas. You'll develop a "vocabulary" to discuss wines and their unique characteristics. This seminar will also feature renowned Napa Valley vintners and the chance to taste some perfectly aged Napa Valley wines.
