You and three other couples will have something to write home about—and what you write may even rhyme—after spending a hedonistic fall weekend in Napa Valley.

Begin by checking into the incredible Poetry Inn in Yountville where Cliff Lede, the property’s owner, will be your host for your two-night stay. The first evening you will celebrate by indulging in one of the most sought-after foods on the planet: the white truffle--Tartuffe bianchi--from Piedmont, Italy. Piero Selvaggio, owner of Valentino’s restaurant in Los Angeles, will bring his culinary team and fresh truffles to Gargiulo Vineyards for a fall dinner featuring wines from Silver Oak, Twomey, Cliff Lede and Gargiulo—along with some Barolos from the vintners’ cellars.

You’ll also be treated to a living room concert with music provided by Silver Oak’s David Duncan and Jeff Gargiulo. They will be accompanied by Grammy-award-winning singer and songwriter Billy Dean, acclaimed songwriter and guitarist Monty Powell and his incredible wife and jazz singer Anna Wilson.

The following day, after a leisurely breakfast at Poetry Inn, Billy, Monty and Anna will provide a songwriting session for you, followed by lunch at Silver Oak prepared by winery chef Dominic Orsini. A dive into the cellar will no doubt reveal some cherished, older Silver Oak vintages as well as a selection of Twomey wines.

The two-day extravaganza will finish with a fabulous dinner at Cliff’s home. Take in a great art collection and valley-wide views as you enjoy an exceptional evening…a fitting coda to your musical getaway.

Words alone cannot adequately describe the collection of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Sauvignon Blanc you’ll claim as your own. You may need to compose a musical accompaniment to do these wines justice.

All ground transportation within Napa Valley provided. Ground transportation provided to and from all Bay Area airports.

Dates to be confirmed within 30 days after Auction Napa Valley. Dates mutually agreeable in fall 2013, but for the best truffles the best dates are between November 20 and December 20.
