Delight in the balance of this 2010 Howell Mountain Cabernet Sauvignon. The fruit and wood components are well integrated and lead to complex and wonderful aromas followed by rich, lush flavors of black cherries, blackberries, vanilla and toasted oak.
Howell Mountain is a nested AVA in the Napa Valley on the eastern side of the valley and is famed for its volcanic soils. The vineyard from which the grapes for this wine came is situated on a west-facing mountainside. The average slope of this site is more than 20% and topsoil is hard to find. These conditions lead to Cabernet Sauvignon with intense flavors and colors.
